AGC THREE WAY CHALLENGE      

PACE OF PLAY:  The management of LTGC has mandated that all groups in AGC tournaments will not exceed a pace of 4hours and 45 minutes for 18 holes with carts off paths or 5 hours with carts restricted to cart path.  Please keep up with the group in front of you.

FORMAT & SCORING:  This is a two-person, flighted tournament with no handicaps within flights.  Team indexes must add up to minimum of 9 and there must not be greater than nine point difference between indexes. Holes 1 - 6:  Alternate shot, where both players hit a tee ball on each hole, choose one tee shot, then alternate shots until holed, playing only the one selected tee ball.  The partner whose tee shot was not used shall play 2nd. Holes 7-12:  Scramble. Holes 13-18:  Better ball with each player playing his own ball. Score the better ball.

SUMMER RULES:  USGA Rules govern play.

WINTER RULES:  Lift, clean, and place within one LTGC scorecard length no nearer to the hole and in the same cut of grass.

TEES:  Individuals with indexes of 13.0 or more use white tees.  Individuals with indexes of 12.9 or less use blue tees.

CLOSIES:  Closest to the hole competition will be held on two holes.

POSTING:  Not applicable.

EMBEDDED BALL:  The "embedded ball rule" Appendix I is in effect "through the green".

OBSTRUCTIONS:  Protective fence left of No. 16 and behind No. 17 green, protective fence behind No. 12 tee, cart paths, yardage markers, wooden bridges, and staked trees.  Proceed under rule 24.

LIFT AREAS:  Drainage ditches filled with rocks and young staked tree basins are deemed ground under repair.  Proceed under Rule 25-1.

TIES:  There will be no playoffs for ties.

SCORE CARDS:  You must keep fellow competitor's scorecard.  Please turn your signed and attested scorecard to the score table IMMEDIATELY following play.
