AGC BEAT THE STAFF TOURNAMENT  


PACE OF PLAY: The management of LTGC has mandated that all groups in AGC tournaments will not exceed a pace of 4 hours and 45 minutes for 18 holes with carts off paths or 5 hours with carts restricted to cart path. Failure to maintain these standards will result in offending players being denied play in AGC tournaments, for the benefit of our entire Club.  KEEP UP WITH THE GROUP IN FRONT OF YOU! 

FORMAT: This is a best 3 of 4 low net stroke play tournament using 90% of AGC indexes played against the best 3 of 4 LTGC staff.  Pros will play scratch, and amateurs will play at 90% AGC indexes. There will be a graduated payoff for all teams that beat the staff. 

SUMMER RULES: USGA Rules govern play. 

WINTER RULES: Lift, clean, and place within one LTGC scorecard length no nearer to the hole and in the same cut of grass. 

TEES:  ALL PLAYERS – WHITE TEES 

CLOSIES:  Closest to the hole competition will be held on two holes. 

POSTING:  DO NOT post your scores in the computer. Your score will be posted for you. 

EMBEDDED BALL:  The "embedded ball rule" Appendix I is in effect "through the green". 

OBSTRUCTIONS:  Protective fence left of No.16 and behind No.17 green, protective fence behind No. 12 tee, cart paths, yardage markers, wooden bridges, and staked trees.  Proceed under Rule 24. 

LIFT AREAS:  Drainage ditches filled with rocks are deemed ground under repair. Proceed under Rule 25-1.  

TIES:  No playoffs for AGC points. 

RULES:  If in doubt on a rule, play two balls and bring the issue before the Rules Committee. 

SCORE CARDS: Keep each player's individual gross scores for posting. Add the three best net scores and enter the total at the bottom of the score card for each hole.
