AGC PAR POINT TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

PACE OF PLAY:  The management of LTGC has mandated that all groups in AGC tournaments will not exceed a pace of 4 hours and 45 minutes for 18 holes with carts off paths or 5 hours with carts restricted to cart path.  Please keep up with the group in front of you.

FORMAT & SCORING:  This is a stroke play high gross/high net points tournament with no flights.  90% of the AGC handicap will be used for scoring.  Keep your actual score for posting by the committee.  Enter gross points and net points on the scorecard.  Points are awarded per the following:

·        Double Eagle = 7 points

     ·        Eagle = 5 points

     ·        Birdie = 3 points

     ·        Par = 1 point

     ·        Bogie = 0 points

     ·        Others = -1 point 

SUMMER RULES:  USGA Rules govern play.

WINTER RULES:  Lift, clean, and place within one LTGC scorecard length no nearer to the hole and in the same cut of grass.

TEES:  Everyone WHITE tees.

CLOSIES:  Closest to the hole competition will be held on two holes.

POSTING:  DO NOT post your scores in the computer. Your score will be posted for you.

EMBEDDED BALL:  The "embedded ball rule" Appendix I is in effect "through the green".

OBSTRUCTIONS:  Protective fence left of No. 16 and behind No. 17 green, protective fence behind No. 12 tee, cart paths, yardage markers, wooden bridges, and staked trees.  Proceed under rule 24.

LIFT AREAS:  Drainage ditches filled with rocks and young staked tree basins are deemed ground under repair.  Proceed under Rule 25-1.

TIES:  There will be no playoff for ties.

RULES:  If in doubt on a rule, play two balls and bring the issue before the Rules Committee.

SCORE CARDS:  You must keep fellow competitor's scorecard.  Please turn your signed and attested scorecard to the score table IMMEDIATELY following play.
